I stayed at Admiral Motel for a short break with my two young children. The unit was comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Rick and Rickie, the hosts, were super friendly and went the extra mile, even taking us to a wedding in Lyttleton. The Pepperberry Cafe just 30 meters away serves divine blueberry pancakes for a delicious breakfast treat. The staff at the motel were also very helpful and gave us travel tips, even offering a lift to the campervan hire company. Highly recommended!
Would recommend this hotel.

Nothing.
Hotel was dated and the smell in the room was so bad it clung to our cloths the next day. We had to open all the windows when we returned from a night out.

This hotel is located in a well-managed area with easy access to all facilities, and is very close to the main shopping area. The rooms are well-equipped and have a big kitchen, making it a great choice for those who want to cook their own meals. The staff show genuine hospitality and the breakfast is amazing. I was also impressed by the attention to detail, like being offered a drive back to the airport when we arrived late.
All was great, I couldn't fault this hotel at all.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel located in a garden setting. The spacious two bedroom, self contained accommodation provided ample space for our four-person group. The staff was very helpful and the location was convenient for getting to the city centre. We were pleasantly surprised by the great on-site laundry facilities, free washing powder, and the choice between a dryer or clothesline.
Absolutely nothing.

Very old and tired motel. very noisy because major road on doorstep with cars revving engines on weekends particularly. The place needs a makeover.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the warm and genuine welcome from the owners made me feel instantly at home. They were incredibly helpful and offered generous assistance throughout my stay, going above and beyond my usual hotel experiences. Secondly, the location was perfect, being very close to the main shopping area and within walking distance of the centre. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that allowed me to prepare meals at my convenience. I even had the opportunity to enjoy the evening sun outside in the lovely garden. All these factors combined made my stay at this hotel a wonderful experience.
